Complete Heart and Cardiovascular Care

Coenzyme Q10 (also known as CoQ10) is critical for powering the heart and is a superb antioxidant when combined with vitamin E. As we age, our ability to synthesize CoQ10 declines.

Isotonix® Coenzyme Q10 is key to supplementing your body with this essential antioxidant to promote your heart muscle’s strength, help maintain normal blood pressure and help protect your cardiovascular system from free radicals.

Designed for optimal absorption, keep your heart happy with Isotonix Coenzyme Q10!

Medicinal ingredients: Each capful of 3.3 grams of powder contains Coenzyme Q10 100 mg, Rhizopus oryzae (lipase) 4.25 FCC FIP, and vitamin E 182 mg ATE.

Non-medicinal ingredients: The formula includes fructose, malic acid, potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, calcium sulfate, lemon juice powder, apple fibre, silicon dioxide, maltodextrin, Luo Han Guo (fruit) extract, rebaudioside A (stevia leaf), lemon flavour, lime flavour, and riboflavin.

CoQ10's Vital Role in Energy Production

20 years old

The body's levels of CoQ10 have shown to peak around the age of 20.

36 million

A person's heart beats an average of 100,000 times a day — nearly 36 million times a year.

CoQ10 is a vital nutrient that initiates energy production at the cellular level and powers the heart.

Energize and Protect With CoQ10

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is part of the ubiquinone family, meaning it naturally resides and is produced in all the cells of the body and recognized for its role in supporting cellular energy production. Acting within the mitochondria, CoQ10 helps convert oxygen into energy (ATP) your body can use every day.

Reclaim and Rejuvenate Your Vitality

With age, the body's natural production and ability to synthesize CoQ10 declines. Choosing CoQ10-rich foods, essential nutrients and supplements can help ensure your body gets enough CoQ10 to support your overall well-being. When combined with vitamin E, CoQ10 delivers a synergistic antioxidant effect, working together to help protect cells from oxidative stress, maintain healthy cell membranes and support overall wellness.*

Frequently Asked Questions

Coenzyme Q10 is actually a two-part compound that is composed of (1) a long, fat-soluble isoprenoid tail that anchors the molecule in the inner membrane of the mitochondria, and (2) a quinone that is capable of accepting and transferring electrons through a portion of the respiratory chain. A coenzyme is a non-protein substance that helps enzymes carry out their metabolic function and is not consumed in the reaction. Coenzyme Q10 is found in the cell membranes of all cells in our body, particularly in the inner mitochondrial membranes, and is especially concentrated in highly active organs such as the heart, lungs, kidneys, spleen and adrenal glands. Mitochondria produce large amounts of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which helps cells perform work. Since the manufacture of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in the mitochondria is known to generate many harmful oxygen radicals, coenzyme Q10 serves an antioxidant function in that location by neutralizing radicals.

Coenzyme Q10 is also required by a key enzyme in the Kreb Cycle (Citric Acid Cycle), which converts both carbohydrates and fat into usable energy for the cell. Besides these functions within all cells, coenzyme Q10 also works with vitamin E outside of the cell when both compounds are dissolved in circulating low-density lipoprotein (LDL) particles carrying cholesterol.

While our livers produce small amounts of coenzyme Q10, and this small amount is distributed to the rest of the body, we get most CoQ10 from foods, such as organ meats, muscle meats, fish, peanuts, spinach, soy and nuts. In the past, it was difficult and very expensive to isolate sufficient amounts of coenzyme Q10 from these food sources for the purpose of dietary supplementation. However, a Japanese company succeeded in synthesizing coenzyme Q10 in 1977, thus making an important nutrient available to the world.

A variety of clinical studies have demonstrated that a daily intake as low as 30 mg and as high as 300 mg of coenzyme Q10 is safe and can promote a healthier life. The circulating levels of coenzyme Q10 take about 60 to 90 days to reach a steady state depending on the amount taken. Granular coenzyme Q10, as used in Isotonix, is about equal to the oil-based form in terms of uptake from the small intestine and distribution throughout the body.

Keep Isotonix stored in a dry, cool place. If Isotonix is stored in the kitchen, keep it away from the stove, sink, heat-generating appliances or window ledges. If you live in a very humid area, you may store Isotonix products in the refrigerato, but not in the fruits and vegetables area.

I love this product and have taken pills for years but much rather take isotonix version. The only negative os that it is only sold in a 30 serving size. Please make a 90 serving size available. It is costly but not as costly as poor health and failing organs. perhaps if you can bottle 90 servings, the cost could be less than 3 times the 30 serving.

The isotonic delivery system is wonderful. It does not sit in your stomach, but is immediately taken where it needs to go in the body.
